Ezeet is a digital receipt platform operated by Luke Gilham ("we", "us", "our"), based in Liverpool, United Kingdom. These terms govern your use of the Ezeet website (ezeet.co.uk), the Ezeet progressive web application, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
As a consumer, you may use Ezeet to receive and store digital receipts from participating merchants. To use the Service, you will need to register your payment card's brand and last four digits. Ezeet does not store your full card number, CVV, or any payment credentials.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
Your receipts are stored securely and are only accessible to you through your authenticated account. You may delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@ezeet.co.uk.
As a merchant, you may connect your point-of-sale (POS) system to Ezeet to deliver digital receipts to consumers who have registered their payment cards. By connecting your POS system, you authorise Ezeet to access transaction data through your POS provider's API.
You confirm that you have the right to share transaction data with Ezeet and that doing so does not breach any agreement with your POS provider, payment processor, or any applicable law.
Ezeet provides merchants with anonymised analytics including repeat customer rates, transaction trends, and loyalty insights. No personally identifiable consumer information is shared with merchants.
Ezeet may offer the ability to connect your bank account through authorised open banking providers (such as Yapily). This connection is governed by the open banking provider's terms and is subject to your explicit consent. You may revoke this consent at any time through your banking provider or by contacting us.
Transaction data obtained through open banking is used solely to display your spending history and generate enriched receipt records within the Service.
Ezeet may integrate with third-party accounting platforms such as Xero and QuickBooks. By connecting these services, you authorise Ezeet to push receipt and expense data to your accounting platform on your behalf. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any data pushed to your accounting software.
Ezeet is not an accounting service and does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice. You should consult a qualified accountant for all tax and compliance matters.
Ezeet includes a loyalty feature that allows merchants to view anonymised repeat customer data and send rewards. Consumers are identified to merchants only by a random six-character code — never by name, email, or card details.
Rewards are offered at the merchant's discretion. Ezeet does not guarantee the availability, value, or redemption of any reward. Rewards have no cash value unless otherwise stated by the merchant.
You agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
The Ezeet name, logo, design, and all associated content are the property of Luke Gilham. The "ezeet." word mark is registered with the UK Intellectual Property Office (UK00004354636, Classes 9 and 42).
You may not use the Ezeet name, logo, or branding without prior written permission.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Ezeet is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
We are not liable for any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from the use of or inability to use the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ezeet and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, if any.
The Service integrates with third-party platforms including POS providers (Zettle, Square, SumUp, Clover), open banking providers (Yapily), and accounting platforms (Xero, QuickBooks). These integrations are subject to the respective third party's own terms of service and privacy policies. Ezeet is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
